HTTYD2014! This is for you, my friend. I hope you have a marvelous birthday today, and that the joy and celebration of God's love in your soul fills your heart with happiness!! You were the first person I really talked with in the HTTYD fandom, so you're one special guy in my heart. I love our conversations, and I *love* your videos -- from your epic pieces, your humorous tributes, your MOCK TRAILERS (which all deserve a standing ovation), and of course and more importantly I love your personality. And that is the icing that threatens to take over the whole cake in the reason I get excited to see your name in my inbox or my upload feed. ;) I'm sure I'm just one person of the many you've inspired along the way. I haven't yet had the honor to do a birthday video for a Circle member, so starting off with yours is both exciting and nerve-wracking. I do hope I did well, and in Circle tradition with a TSFH number. I really wanted to find a song similar to Dream Chasers, since I know that piece is very close to your heart. I *was* going to cover more expressions between characters here, but once I chose the "epic song" over some other option, the vid kind of carried itself away into a story and such LOL. I don't do epic songs quite as much as the rest of you, mostly because like iVishu expressed, the lack of a direct storyline. Well, welcome the VO and layers and layers of volume increase! So that makes this vid pretty unique among my uploads, as it should be, since it's for a very unique person. I really wanted to choose something that you would enjoy, and though I couldn't *quite* capture the various expressions in HTTYD ("the eggs explode" to TSFH? Ummm....) I hope I did you justice by covering a lot of the major characters in HTTYD (Hiccup, Astrid, Toothless -- and Stoick found his way in there too XD), along with the framing battle scenes I know you would enjoy. It feels like a trailer, which is great, since you're the master of HTTYD trailer dubs! And I thought I'd mention my epic fails here too. Like, I couldn't bring myself to use RoB in here, even though I should have. *facepalm* And hopefully the timings and fast pace here would make up for my other shortcomings of style! You made me a gorgeous birthday video last December, and I only hope I returned the favor well. :) Thanks again for being your wonderful self, for being an honest Christian, a fantastic video-maker, an awesome fan, and an inspiring friend.
