Northern Ontario, Paddling The Grassy river - July 2013- Start at High Falls to Dalton Rd culvert (The Bottom Part) This is an easy day paddle good introduction to moving water good for beginners and families. The put in point at High Falls is now a natural conservation area and the trails are maintained for the public. Thanks to groups like Friends of High Falls, The Mattagami Region Conservation Authority, Timmins Fur Council, and the public for fighting to preserve this river for all locals and visitors to enjoy. Water level changes due to the Peterlong Control Dam. Get that paddle in the water.
