To Fix Wi Fi icon / Network Icon / Internet Icon Missing from Taskbar in Windows 10 here are three methods: Method One: Make sure that the Network Icon is Turned On. To do it open Windows Settings then open “Personalization”. In the left pane of the next window, click on “Taskbar”. Then in the right side, locate the link “Turn system icons on or off”. In the next window, turn on icon of “Network”. If it’s already turned on, return to the previous window and now click on the link “Select which icons appear on the taskbar”. In the next window, turn on the “Network” icon. Method 2: Restart “Windows Explorer” To do it, right click on the Taskbar and then click on “Task Manager”. You can open the Task Manager by clicking “Ctrl” + “Alt” + “Delete” keys together. In the “Task Manager Window”, locate the process named “Windows Explorer”. After selecting “Windows Explorer” click on “Restart” in the right down corner. That’s all..! Method 3: Open the “Run” command box and enter in it “gpedit.msc”. In the Local Group Policy Editor window, in the left pane, under “User configuration” expand the folder name “Administrative Templates” and then select the folder named “Start Menu and Taskbar”. Now in the right-hand side, open the element named “Remove the networking icon” and set it as “Disabled” as shown in this video. Then click “Apply” and then “OK”. Now, restart your computer.
