I'm sharing my honest LASIK experience from the procedure that I had on April 14, 2021 at LASIKPlus here in the metro Atlanta area. Fun Facts: - My contact prescription prior to was -3.25 -My visual acuity was 20/4000 (no, that's not an extra zero...I couldn't see at all lol), watch the video to see what my vision is now. -I wore glasses and contacts for 26 years Special shoutout to: -Dr. Smith, he was so patient with me and talked to me throughout the entire procedure. -David, the other nursing staff and the guy at the front desk (I really wish that I remembered his name). Everyone was so nice and informative! -My dad that drove me to my appointment -My daughter a.k.a. my little nurse FAQs Any complications? Despite me being a nervous wreck, I had zero complications Did it hurt? Honestly, the clamp thingy in my eye was EXTREMELY uncomfortable but not painful. Everything else was just pressure. How long did it take to recover? Once I took my 3-4 hour nap, I was good. I did take off work the following day because the computer was just overwhelming.
