"7 things to do in Sapporo" 1. Hayabusa Experience: You should travel to Hakkadote by train instead of other medium of transport. 2. Beer Museum : Sapporo is mainly known for its beer. It is the oldest beer brand in Japan founded in 1876. Museum shows us the history of Japan famous beer and brewing process of highly ranked beer through out the country. It will take around 2-3 hours to cover up all the things including tasting free beer and “Sapporo premium restaurant”. Roda-Gigante NORIA Ferris wheel: Attractive "Pink Ferris wheel" centre of attraction near Susukino.This Ferris wheel is situated on the 7th floor of the Norbesa building. It is shopping arcade with few restaurants and lifestyle shops. Open hours : 11 am to 11 pm Ticket charges : 600 yen per person ⦁ No child rate ⦁ One Compartment has designed 4 person with sufficient leg space. Sky-J restaurant (JR tower hotel Nikko Sapporo) : Sky-J restaurant at 35th floor of the JR tower with spectacular view of the city. They have entry of restaurant from inside JR tower hotel. You can find “art work” at base floor. Tanukikoji shopping arcade : Tanukikoji is right in the centre of Sapporo. It is an approximately 1km-long shopping street with around 200 shops from east to west. The street has an ambiance of the good old days which is beautifully organised with vibrant colours. There are a wide variety of shops from long-established stores to places of the latest trends. Open: 24 hours How to reach: From Sapporo Station - around 18 min walk. Then Head south along Sapporo Ekimae-dori and you’ll arrive at the entrance of the shopping street. 6. Suage soup curry and dining: Soup Curry is essentially a curry sauce based soup with vegetables and meat. You can choose the spice level up to level 6, even though level 6 wasn’t that spicy. Must try out food at this place. As its in high in demand so you have to wait for your number. :) Open hours : 11:30 am to 9:30 pm Cost : Most Soup Curry dishes are 1,150 Yen each. Nightlife in Susukino Susukino is joint hub for those who really fond of night life. You can find various pubs and food places throughout the street. And it is one of the lively places in Sapporo. Especially for night life! "City of Jazz" - The festival began in 2007 with the aim of turning Sapporo into a City of Jazz, and it has grown into one of the largest jazz festivals in the country.
