「碧砂漁港」是一個結合傳統漁獲中心和觀光休閒、海鮮餐廳的一個漁港，讓當地漁民所捕獲的新鮮魚、蝦、蟹等海鮮食品，直接提供給觀光客購買，不但新鮮，價格更是比一般魚市場來的便宜。所以來這裡的消費者，幾乎都是大量採購，若是遠道而來的觀光客，沒辦法帶回去的還可以在現場大快朵頤呢！因為這裡一整排的代客烹煮的餐廳，馬上提供您即時又便利的飲食服務。在餐廳旁也有一大片的草地，供遊客休憩散心用，廣大的草地上有一座經國先生的銅像，因為港邊風大，這裡也成了放風箏的好地方，一年四季皆適宜喔。一旁擺了一艘退休的遠洋漁船─「海功號」，經歷了十八年的歲月，海功號於八十二年功成身退，停泊在碧砂漁港供遊客參觀，龐大的船身矗立在路旁，現在成了碧砂漁港的重要地標。（摘自農業易遊網）
