jayfeather31's video: EAS Scenario - What If 1983

@EAS Scenario - What If? (1983)
Please read before watching. Also, don't wear headphones while watching this, or if you are... don't leave the volume too high. SYNOPSIS: During the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union in 1983, the world came perilously close to instigating an armed conflict with incalculable consequences for all mankind. From November 7th to November 11th, 1983, NATO started a military exercise In Germany meant to simulate having its forces going to DEFCON 1. The Soviet Union, already spooked by the movement of Pershing II missiles to Europe, among other international events, took the exercises literally, and with NATO inadvertently giving the Soviet Union confirmation of their worst fears, the Soviet Union almost responded militarily. Luckily, this didn't happen, but what if it did? This scenario takes place across several regions of the United States, portraying the situation in the nation during the conventional and nuclear stages of a Soviet invasion of West Germany triggered by Able Archer. This scenario also features the first usage of Sony Vegas Movie Studio 15 for effects to make the screens look like as if they were straight out of the mid-80s. Like always, criticism is appreciated. Please note that none of this is actually occurring. There is no reason to panic. If you choose to use this video as a prank, you do so at your own risk. I hold no responsibility for your actions. I should also note that my usage of commercials prior to the EAS Alert are protected by the Copyright Act of 1976.
