Welcome to bloom- An innovative college prep app for high school students, by Beta. We help students bloom into confident and successful college students. So what exactly is bloom? Bloom is an app easily accessible across all mobile devices. We offer several sections within the app- sections including forums where students can talk to each other, compile deadlines and fees for their applications, and chat one on one with college admissions officers and Beta Alumni. With over 3,000,000 students applying to colleges each year, the process is often confusing and stress-inducing. With our app, the confusion and stress of college applications will be gone! Our app features forums, 1 on 1 chats with Beta Alumni, and a section where college information is compiled into one easy screen. We unfortunately can’t do anything about the stress of actually going to college, but we try to help where we can. Our colors, blue, orange, and green, were selected carefully with the college applicant in mind. The blue represents intelligence, calmness, communication, efficiency, and thought. The orange represents optimism and productivity and invites students into a warm and friendly environment. The green was selected because it is commonly found in nature, where students can find balance, harmony, and rest. We hope our colors help to psychologically reassure students throughout the entire college application process. In advertising our app, we plan on marketing across various platforms, such as instagram, youtube, and twitter, to reach our target audience. Additionally, flyers may be sent out to Beta Clubs nationwide to help promote the app within schools. We thank you for your time.
