I fell in love with takoyaki at first bite from this Japanese market that sells groceries and prepared meals. Takoyaki (たこ焼き) is a Japanese snack in the shape of little round balls containing pieces of octopus. Tako-yaki literally translates to “octopus-grilled/fried” and some people may call it “Octopus Balls” or “Octopus Dumplings”. I found this cool electric takoyaki maker on amazon. I was thinking there is also electric donut hole and that could be used to make takoyaki to. I think traditional takoyaki is made with octopus, but I only had shrimp so I made this version which would be called ebiyaki. You can put any toppings, and can even make other things with this pan.
