Talk Talk fue una banda inglesa de rock formada en 1981 en Londres, y disuelta en 1991. En el comienzo de su carrera el grupo fue encasillado dentro del estilo denominado synth pop,sus últimos álbumes son considerados por la crítica como precursores del post-rock. Los integrantes del grupo fueron el cantante y multi-instrumentista Mark Hollis, el baterista Lee Harris, el bajista Paul Webb y el teclista Simon Brenner. El productor Tim Friese-Greene tuvo un rol importante en la evolución artística del grupo, además de tocar varios instrumentos y colaborar en la composición.
