Beastie Boys es un grupo musical neoyorquino fundado en 1979. Comenzaron tocando hardcore punk en sus primeros discos, pero más tarde comenzaron a experimentar como pioneros del hip hop y el rap, convirtiéndose en referencia fundamental de los mismos. También han editado discos basados en el funk y el jazz y no es infrecuente que en sus discos de hip hop incluyan algún momento de rock o punk o algún corte acústico. También son conocidas las actividades de Turntablism y de producción musical de sus miembros.
