Tell me about islands in Korea. - Jeju island When we are talking about the islands in Korea, we must talk about Jeju island which has always been the most popular and unique island. Jeju is a volcanic island which was inscribed on the World heritage list in 2007. The island is full of attractions. Not only the natural wonders but also small and unique restaurants, cafes and museums are attracting numerous people around the world. As Jeju has its own airport, there are some international flights going directly to Jeju and many domestic flights from different cities of Korea. Also there is a ferry connecting Jeju with Incheon, Mokpo and other cities. - South Coast (Numerous undiscovered islands) Korea has more islands in our South Coast. We have two marine national parks in South Coast. There are almost a thousand islands for those two national parks. There are so many beautiful islands. Some are connected by bridge and some are by ferry. As the landscape of the area is extraordinary, I think the area has more potential to be developed as tourist destinations. However, the biggest problem for those islands are the accessibility.
