jimboj's video: Racist Family Fortunes

@Racist Family Fortunes
I almost remember being an innnocent teenager transfixed by the shameful full episode of this tea time facist favourite (featuring Lionel Richie and his family and some people from Derbyshire) the first time around and I've told the same people people hundreds of times about it since. People said Les Dennis 'pretended' to be a racist in Extras (or was that Keith Chegwin?) but here is hard proof of his shocking complicity in a raging culture of hatred during those infamous pre-PC days of ITV. The contestants should probably be glad to have got out of there without being touched inappropriately too. Or maybe they didn't? If you didn't then there is probably a number to call. I'll have a look, but you should look too, now. It might be your historic quiz show abuse claim, lengthy and expensive trial by media, imprisonment and bankruptcy through paying your lawyer's fees, that puts a halt to a not yet alleged Les Dennis from commiting a string of make believe offences involving vulnerable middle aged, Northern, working class people and legendary soul singers during the early 1990s Here are edited lowlights. For the full episode, you can search for 'Darbyshires vs Browns' on here. I wouldnt waste your time. Its quite a specialist realm and not for people like us. Plus, all the important racist bits and the end of Big Money are here and to be honest, the full episode is a bit depressing. Yes, they get a Family Fortune of nearly £108.00 each, which in 1993 was enough to buy a racehorse, a speedboat, two Ferraris and still have enough for the bus fare home. In 2015, this 'fortune' seems laughable when you consider that a receipt for a gram of horse, a moderately priced prostitute, a Happy Meal and some milk of magnesia won't show much change. I should have left in the bit where Lionel Richie wins a sewing machine for saying 'tattoos' and that facist Les Dennis says he could use it to get somes sic tats! He was either implying that he looked like a prison gang member (being a brown) and would therefore have lots of freshly shanked, bleeding ink anyway or that he wanted to brand him like he'd seen in 12 Years A Slave, which cinemagoers of the time would be very much looking forward to seeing in 20 years time and had nearly all tipped to scoop the Oscars. I don't own the copyright to the video and (slightly crap) audio, but have posted these three short clips from one show, out of the entire, tiringly long series of series for educational purposes, for such everyday big thinkers as post-graduate level Sociology, History and Media students and GNVQ grade satirists. People who like to reinact wars and other key events like football matches or birthdays from 1993 or those who don't speak English as a first language, such as the French, might get some educational value too, but it's probably a bit specific to be worth my mentioning and as the sound is a bit out, you might learn to speak a bit behind where your mouth is moving and then Nigel Farage will have every right to throw you into the English Channel for a Channel 5 documentary
