An Ident created for Demon TV (De Montfort University's student television station) using Unreal Engine 3's Matinee feature. Music featured is by Harry Gregson-Williams from the X-Men Origins: Wolverine sound track. Technical bits and bobs: Engine version used was the one that ships with the game Unreal Tournament 3, so it's a bit outdated nowadays in terms of features. A LightFunction was used to project a real-time cloud surface over the logo (a simple monotone texture with alpha matte). Recorded in real-time using Fraps. This meant certain sacrifices to detail to ensure the engine ran at a steady 25fps whilst recording. Thanks for watching!
