La Jonction Walk, Chamonix, Mont Blanc A long, steep & difficult walk from the Chamonix Valley up a steep path to 'La Jonction' where the Glacier des Bossons and Glacier de Taconnaz divide around this minor peak. 1500 metres of ascent (or 1350 metres from top of chair lift). Ascent time about 4 hours. Descent Time about 2.5 hours.
