@Beekeeping,Beehive Bees entrance fanning bee pollen loads,Honeybees Beekeeper Georgia Honey
http://georgiabees.blogspot.com Beekeeping, Beekeepers closeup of entrance fanning by honey bees. WATCH the upside down bees, I'd never noticed that before. This is September so the orange goldenrod pollen is flowing in,very humid because of rains so the extra entrance fanning for nectar evaporation. The Bee pollen coming in on the honeybees legs is high in protein and will be fed to baby bees or mixed with honey to make royal jelly to raise a queen. I use Bee pollen traps on my beehives to trap the pollen for sales or to feed back in early spring for extra bees for Nucs to sell to other beekeepers. Georgia Beekeeping is full time work here in Milledgeville.
