97.9 Spring Radio is a commercial FM station owned by LGU-Tampakan licensed in Tampakan, South Cotabato, a town 10km from Koronadal. Studios and transmitter are located at 2nd Floor Fitz Building, Poblacion, Tampakan, South Cotabato. It first signed on at 2010 and its frequency was at 100.9MHz. Last January 2013, the station changed frequencies from 100.9 to 97.9, to allow a Matalam, North Cotabato-based FM station to sign on. It's current callsign is DXQT-FM. It might be a community station intended to serve the municipality of Tampakan, but that station is considered as a Koronadal FM station based on 2015 and 2016 Kantar Media Surveys. The format of this station is Contemporary MOR/OPM. This is how Tampakan's radio station signs on every 4:00am. This is recorded last 05/28/18, 3:44am PHT, from Koronadal City.
