Only the pre-2017 list of Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program stations are on this aircheck. The Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program of the National Nutrition Council was born of a need for a long-term and cost-efficient strategy to address the problem of hunger and malnutrition in the Philippines through the use of radio, the most available form of mass media. The Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program involves the setting up of non-profit, non-partisan community radio stations and the training of broadcast personnel in areas of the country with high malnutrition prevalence and which do not have easy access to broadcast media. Nutriskwela Community Radio aims to empower the community through the dissemination of correct, relevant and up-to-date nutrition and health information, as well as educational and developmental information from all relevant sectors of the community, government agencies, and non-government organizations. The Nutriskwela stations are licensed by the National Telecommunications Commission under the name of the NNC. NNC provides the equipment, training and technical assistance while the partners' counterpart include the space, personnel and maintenance of the radio station. Annual Nutriskwela conferences are held to update the station personnel on nutrition and community radio broadcasting. Each station has a community radio council composed of representatives from various sectors to help manage the operations of the radio station. The radio stations air radio programs and materials of NNC as well as local programs. The NNC also established Nutriskwela Community Radio Awards to recognize excellent broadcasting in nutrition and development programs among the radio stations.
