I consider Battery one of the hardest Metallica songs to learn and play so I challenged myself by recording it. Recording really forces you to learn all the parts correctly, especially when video recording yourself. Some parts I've been playing casually the wrong way for dozens of years now, thinking they were close enough the whole time, but after a close listen to the original guitar tracks I've corrected my playing. I was also proud of the guitar tone I got in this recording so I wanted to share how exactly I achieved that using my MESA Boogie Mark V amp and a Two Notes Torpedo Live speaker simulator.
