Jim Dunne's video: Gear Walkthrough 1 11 09

This is just a quick walk-through of all my gear and a little info about how I produce some of my videos. This was shot just after posting my Creeping Death cover. The software tools I mainly employ are: Cakewalk Sonar Producer 7.0.2, now using 8.0.2 lately Alien Connections ReValver MkII for guitar cabinet impulse convolution mencoder (from mplayer suite) for quick recompression of the MPEG-2 videos my video camera produces down to MPEG-4 AVIs with MP3 audio. WinLAME for audio compression to MP3 format, generally incoming mastered audio track from Cakewalk. CoolEdit Pro 2.0 used to simply line up the raw camera audio track with the more-produced version. This is so I can simply "swap out" the raw audio track with the final produced version, accomodating for dead time in the intro and the outro of the video. VirtualDub for linear editing of this particular video.
