The Blue Streak rollercoaster at Conneaut Lake Park in northwestern Pennsylvania was built in 1938 by Edward Vettel and is an American Coaster Enthusiasts "Coaster Classic" and Landmark Coaster. The Blue Streak has a very rare and unique track design and still uses a manual breaking system and one original train. The original train was last used in 2006. The turn around curve of the Blue Streak was rebuilt during the Summer of 2010. Thanks to a $50,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project, $10,000 from the American Coaster Enthusiasts, and donations from many fans and supporters who love the Blue Streak (including a donation from myself), the coaster has opened once again after sitting idle for almost four years.
