Tomato rice is one of the most familiar variety rice in south in India. We can make this tomato rice in different ways. In this video I made this as similar as Biriyani taste by adding whole Garam masala as seasoning. While making this recipe we need to follow the below given points. 1. saute onions till it gets golden brown color. 2. Added tomatoes should mashed completely. 3. Ginger garlic should be crushed, not to be grinded as paste. 4. Add garam masala powder for additional flavour. 5. After rice gets cooked toppings with fresh coriander leaves and a table spoon of ghee. 6. To make it more rich we can garnish with roasted cashew nuts. We can serve hot with onion raita .
