The midboss opener is *harder* than next couple spells, not easier, which is obviously why that would be the one to not mind bombing. It's actually not that bad, but if you don't look ahead for openings you can get walled, and it's always possible to get clipped while looking ahead, and since you get so many bombs you might as well use one if you have any doubt there. I realized watching the footage that I called Mokou's manji spell her "manju" spell, and I felt kind of like an idiot. Anyway, the spell I was talking about is "Xu Fu's Dimension" (for some reason I always forget whether "Xu Fu's Dimension" is that spell or the one actually called "Flaw of the Forgiving Shrine"), which if you watched that LP I kind of trivialized by abusing a safe height where her blue amulets won't hit you even though it looks like they should. But I feel like the trick to trivialing Suwako's first spell card is less intuitive than that. At least give it an honest try before looking up how to trivialize it if you plan to do that. I also realized that when I played through again with Reimu to show "Snake Eats the Croaking Frog" properly, I had already blown by my score from the LP by the time I got to that spell. Man, this run was terrible.
