Witness the pinnacle of computer graphics that I have at my disposal: the iTunes visualizer and iMovie and it's built-in effects. This came about while mixing a different project and playing around with the delays. What I discovered was a delay sound that uncannily simulated the sound of a nitrous oxide hit, or a really spectacular acid trip. When added onto a drum performance that gradually rises in tempo to a weird frenetic pace and then calms down, it gets crazy just right. This inspired an easy shoot (point the camera at the screen and press play), some easy editing (the beginning is the only point that syncs up, the rest is just flying blind) and a bunch of effects dumped here and there. And a bit of Danny Devito hollering about tripping balls. I'm not encouraging anyone to do drugs like nitrous or LSD, both have serious risks. This is just a bit of audio-visual fun for everybody, so stay calm and follow the instructions at the beginning of the video if you can. Thanks for reading.
