leeccdoo's video: Boards Of Canada - RARE Tracks From Closes Vol 1 HD

@Boards Of Canada - RARE Tracks From Closes Vol. 1 (HD)
Boards Of Canada's back catalog (Pre-Twoism era) is a subject of controversy. While the community seems to generally agree upon the genuineness of BoC Maxima, Old Tunes Vol. 1, Old Tunes Vol. 2 and the Random 35 Tracks Tape, all of the other pre-Twoism releases are believed to be unavailable online. Closes Vol. 1 and Hooper Bay fakes circulate especially often online, and appear in various forms, but in almost all cases have been rejected by most members of the community as being legitimate Boards of Canada releases. However contrary to popular belief, I have to come to find out that only some (not all) of them are actually in fact authentic from doing hours of extensive research around the net. This Fan Made video is purely by me as well as featuring numerous random gifs I got off of tumblr. Mainly from https://vhspositive.com/ as well as https://contac.tumblr.com/ and https://tvneon.tumblr.com/ I wanted to try and achieve a nice retro vaporwave vibe mixed with classic psychedelia, more or less try and recreate that sort of unique, incredible, nostalgic feel that their timeless music brings. IDM is one of my all-time favorite genres. Yes the first song is the same track as A14 on the Random 35 Tracks Tape but it is also Godever as the track lengths are 100% identical. All you need to do is compare the run time to each other and what is listed on the wiki. No copyright infringement intended at all, video only uploaded for fair use and non profit reasons. A few people have uploaded these tracks but I decided to post them here because they tend to get the names wrong or mislabel them by accident. This was originally released on an extremely limited edition only on cassette in 1992, then re-pressed on CD in 1997 on another super limited run making these tracks hard to find! The only copies known to exist of these early albums are believed to be owned by the friends and family of Boards of Canada, who have never posted them online... That is until now. The last 3 in this video are available for free download on Soundcloud though so here it is. https://soundcloud.com/transmisiones-rodox/sets/possible-closes-vol-1-tracks Hope you Enjoy! Don't forget to subscribe. More RARE awesome stuff to come very soon. The songs are as followed: 2. "Godever" – 1:51 6. "Focus On The Spiral" – 1:28 10. "Helios Sound" – 0:30 13. "Close4" – 0:34 *UPDATE!* I really don't understand for the life of me any of the unnecessary harsh criticism and negative feedback that I've been receiving for this. I have unfortunately had to block a few people and delete several nasty comments that I care not to mention. I did not make the tracks at all, and I promise that I didn't just upload this to trick people. I swear to God that I am not just saying this for the sake of the video, or for views in general... I couldn't be more serious and don't want to argue with anyone about it. The track lengths match up, I can't find them anywhere else, it is BOC. I may not be able to prove this 100% but I just know deep in my heart that it's them and nobody else. I sincerely have no reason to lie or upload misleading content just for views, as that was never my intention in the first place. Not sure why some assholes thought that I went out of my way to purposefully trick and deceive others. I genuinely can't find these tracks anywhere else on the internet other than where I downloaded them from (which is linked in the video description along with the names of the tracks). Only 3-4 other people have posted them on various sites like YT, Soundcloud and Facebook claiming the same thing that I am which means that nobody knows for certain just where in the hell these songs came from. If they are "fan-made" then they have a wonderful ear and did a hell of a good job at recreating their true sound.
