蓮妹陳玉蓮在1993年淡出了娛樂圈後， 參與的電視節目不算多， 但就為香港電台拍了幾個十分高質素的節目。 今次為大家介紹的是在2009年播放的 '香港故事’ (第十輯)，這個節目的資源十分珍貴，不易在互聯網找到，所以在節目播放快十週年的時候，跟蓮迷分享一下。 Idy Chan was only featured in a handful of television programmes since she had become less active in the entertainment industry in 1993. Most of the programmes were produced by the Radio Television Hong Kong and they were of very high quality. 這個節目有十集，每集大概二十多分鐘 。今次蓮妹不是當演員，而是做主持，訪問不同的嘉賓，將帶領我們尋找各區「街頭英雄」的踪影。 嘉賓當中有些是知名人物，例如著名足球員，綽號為 ‘神童偉＂的黃文偉先生 以及電影"五個小孩的校長" 的主人翁，人稱為神奇呂俠的呂麗紅校長。但更多是為其生活的社區或為其關注事宜默默耕耘的市民，真的十分有意思。 The programme introduced here is the Hong Kong Stories (Series 10), which was aired in 2009. This series has 10 episodes and each is about 20 minutes in length. As the presenter, Idy'd take us to meet the “Neighbourhood Heroes” from all walks of life in different parts of of Hong Kong (e.g. Peng Chau and Cha Kwo King). Some of the guests are very well-known like the legendary footballer — Wong Man-wai, and the headmistress featured in the true-story movie “Little Big Master” — Lilian Lui. Others guests might be less famous but they worked very hard for the issues of their concern or serving the community they lived in. This programme is very inspiring but not available on the Internet, therefore, we think it would be nice to share it with the fans on its 10th anniversary. 雖然在每集出鏡的時間不算太長， 但蓮妹深入香港各區 (例如坪洲和茶果嶺)拍外景。而且在節目中，大家可以見到蓮妹很貼地及可愛的一面，例如替醒獅團打鼓，跟嘉賓一起當義工及探訪流浪貓狗等等，所以fans應該會看得很滿足。此外，大家更可聽到蓮妹用其動聽的聲音，為節目當旁白， 所以真的很值得fans一看。 Although her screen time was limited, Idy showed her down-to-earth and cute side from time to time in this programme. For example, she did voluntary work with the guests and played the lion dance drum. Idy also narrated the programme with her beautiful voice. So, Hong Kong Stories (Series 10) is a programme that fans should not be missed!
