@Converting your 454 raw data (*sff ) to *fastq files + clipping (Mitogenome Tutorial 2.2a)
In this tutorial we will learn how to convert the raw data from your 454 sequencer (sff file) using the script sff_ectract. We will also apply some quality clipping, so our reads don't have to many sequencing errors. We save the NGS data as fastq files, which includes sequence quality information and can be open in Geneious and FastQC for a quick quality check. Also make sure to write your labnotebook while following this course, documentation is really impotent!
