VascoElbrecht's video: Using Patterns Swatches in Illustrator Points Lines - CS6 Tutorial

@Using Patterns Swatches in Illustrator (Points & Lines) - CS6 Tutorial!
You want to convert a color figure into black and white? Fill patterns are your tool of choice. Adobe Illustrator CS6 comes with nice Stroke and point fill patterns, that you can adjust easily using Transform instead of creating them from scratch! We will also look at the Pathfinder tool and stack fills over each other using the Appearance panel. This way we create a nice full black and white vector based haplotype map. The pie charts will print better with patterns then with grayscale gradients. You can download the sample file were using today on my website, where you also find additional information: http://luckylion.de/vasco/tutorials/indesign_beyond_the_thesis/illustrator_pattern_presets.php Learn how to make your own patterns here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z15Tg83G3X4
