The Ultimate Pokémon Nuzlocke Challenge I am doing a continuing Nuzelock run through every generation of Pokémon. Rules: No Items in Battle Battle Style: Set Can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in any given area. - If I fail to catch the first encounter, that area is locked off for capturing. - This includes Gift Pokemon, so Pikachu will be my Pallet Town pokemon - Dupes Clause: If I already have a member of an encountered Pokémon's evolutionary line (if that line doesn't branch, in which case I MUST evolve to a different branch when available) then I move to the next encounter. - Shiny Clause: I am allowed to capture and use any Shiny I find, regardless Must name every Pokémon I catch - Names suggested by Chat using Shenanicoins If a Pokémon faints in (or out of) battle, that Pokemon is considered Dead and must be disposed of. - No revive use, no Rare Candy used as revives Try not to overlevel TOO much, grinding is boring. Between Games: Three Pokémon from the party I have at the end of a game will be randomly chosen to replace the starters in the next game in the series, allowing me to choose only one. These starters will be reverted to their earliest evolutions and at Level 5. - The dupes clause does NOT carry through between games unless the Pokémon in question is still on my team.
