In this episode MajorMustHaves Tanya interviews one the people who inspired her to start making videos in the first place, and surprises us all with a stellar recipe for a Strawberry Vinaigrette. As Tanya interviews Rakhara we learn a lot about who she is as a person. She has a great love of nature and greatly enjoys the outdoors. She is also a big fan of exercising and is a regular bike rider. During the interview we also learn about some of her strengths as a person, one of which is her strong communication skills. Rakhara is of the school of thought that every single experience you have, every single day, is one that you can learn from. This way of approaching life has helped her overcome obstacles that seemed virtually impossible to get around and in the end made her a more capable person. After the interview they head into the kitchen where Rakhara reveals her secret recipe for Strawberry Vinaigrette. To make this delicious Strawberry Vinaigrette simply follow the instructions in the video. This recipe is made from fresh ingredients and yields an amazing Vinaigrette that is perfect for virtually any type of salad. They chose to make a kale salad to put their Vinaigrette on but you can make your salad from any type of green you see fit. Strawberry Vinaigrette 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon red onion 1 clove garlic 1 teaspoon dijon mustard 1 tablespoon honey ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 1 ½ teaspoon salt ½ pepper 1 cup olive oil 4 strawberries In a blender place red wine vinegar, red onion, garlic, dijon mustard, honey, vanilla extract, salt and pepper cover and process until pureed. While processing, gradually add oil in a steady stream; process until thickened. Add strawberries.
