Twelve-year-old Eitan faces many daily challenges living with a nervous system disorder including uncontrolled seizures, intellectual disabilities and a sensory processing disorder. He absolutely loves splashing, playing and relaxing in water but baths and sprinklers are just not enough to satisfy him sensory-wise. His wish is to have an aboveground pool is the most exciting choice for him! His mother said, “It’s beautiful to see him genuinely happy. His disorder causes him a lot of physical discomfort and stress so knowing that he has this to come to, it’s very therapeutic. It’s not just about making him happier, it’s about making him healthier. It’s the best wish we ever could have asked for.” Eitan’s new pool is his own backyard oasis. He overheats and dehydrates quickly so cooling off in the Florida heat is a big relief. He loves floating on rafts and playing catch in the pool with his parents. Being able to enjoy it all from his own home makes it easier, safer and more convenient. His parents said, “Eitan can look forward to fun, exercise and sensory stimulation in a way he never could before. He can enjoy the pool as he grows.
