There was quite the surprise in store for 17-year-old Leilani outside her Parrish, FL home one very special Sunday morning. She wished for a shopping spree because she really needed a laptop for school. With COVID-19 and daily life battling cystic fibrosis requiring online shopping, Make-A-Wish enhanced her experience by having Leilani’s wish list personally delivered in cars decorated with balloons, signs, and banners. The parade, which featured the team from Culver’s, included a gift in each vehicle. A MacBook Air laptop, watch, and AirPods from Apple, a TV, Nintendo Switch and video games, jewelry, shoes, and books are just some of the items that she received.
