Marianna is a 12-year-old who has been battling an autoimmune disorder that causes an inflammation of her heart for more than five years. She has been hospitalized numerous times and the condition(s) result in significant pain in her back, shoulders, and chest. Marianna wished for a customized golf cart that will enable her to connect with friends and participate in activities in her neighborhood. Her wish reveal was a huge surprise because her parents told her that Make-A-Wish Southern Florida would be unable to grant her wish. Surrounded by her loved ones, Marianna came outside to discover her awesome customized golf cart in her driveway. Just as she requested, it was detailed in black with a red M and featured red rims, seats and stripes. The golf cart came equipped with all the coolest extras – undercarriage changeable LED lights, a lift kit, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and more. Marianna, who is all smiles, looks forward to cruising around her neighborhood and riding to school in style.
