After a victorious battle with cancer, 17-year-old Cole is extremely grateful to @Nicklaus Children's Hospital and his primary oncologist Dr. Maggie Fader for saving his life. When Make-A-Wish Southern Florida approached him with the opportunity to have one wish granted, Cole knew right away that he wanted to give back. His wish was to make a donation to the Sarcoma Patient Assistance Program at the hospital to help other kids battling cancer who might not be able to afford the same treatment that he received. Cole and his family arrived at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital via chauffeur-driven limousine for a special ceremony to celebrate his wish to pay it forward. He reunited with Dr. Fader and the hospital staff, and joined Make-A-Wish representatives to present a generous check to the children’s hospital’s nonprofit foundation to assist cancer patients and families. Cole said, “I want to help others to get the same treatment that I did because I got really good care. and I feel like it really helped my healing process.
