Let the adventures being! Exactly one year after ringing the bell that signaled the end of chemotherapy treatments for leukemia, Malik’s wish to have a golf cart came true. Malik, an outdoorsy 10-year-old, spent much of 2020 in the hospital. It was a long and difficult cancer journey, especially since Malik is a twin. It was the first time that he and his brother had been separated. Malik did his research and shared his dream vision of the coolest golf cart he could imagine. “It was a very big struggle. Malik was the one who was sick but it took a toll on all of us. I’m happy. I’m holding back tears. His golf cart is amazing is what it is.,” Malik’s mother said. He is more than ready to ride with his parents in his dream golf cart, customized his way in metallic black with LED lights underneath. There’s upgraded rims and tires and a Bluetooth-enabled stereo to make cruising around the neighborhood even more fun. He is so excited to enjoy good times with his family! “It’s an emotional day because Malik has suffered so much through this. He feels good and he is very much grateful. Today means excitement that he’s officially done. Leukemia is not going to mess with him anymore because he’s strong.,” Malik’s father said.
