Twenty-year-old Leandro has had four bouts with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that reproduces in and around bones, in the past five years. He is more than ready for adventure so he wished for a brand new 2020 Yamaha Raptor ATV with a utility trailer. When he set his eyes on his brand new ATV for the first time, Leandro could hardly believe it was really his. His wish symbolizes that “anything is possible” now that his cancer is finally in remission. He said, “I was feeling good but after seeing this, I feel a thousand times better. Now I can just ride and get my mind off of everything.” Leandro’s mother said, “He is going to fly through this process. I know he’s going to feel like nothing happened to him/ By feeling the wind, by all the excitement that this is going to bring that’s how he’s going to be feeling. I see joy on his face.
