Palpatine flees Coruscant and returns to meet with Count Dooku, who reveals that war has broken out between the various factions of the Alliance. Dalek Sec, David and Meredith Vickers release their first Xenomorph Bio-pod, sending it deep into space for a test run against General Grievous's flagship; the Invisible Hand. The Xenomorphs soon overrun the ship, leaving Grievous and Nute Gunray to prepare a defense. With the loss of the Emperor Dalek, the Dalek Supreme convenes the Dalek section commanders and regroups the Dalek invasion force for a second strike against the Alliance. Scorpius meets with Grayza, and discovers she is planning to forge a truce with Anubis. Count Dooku takes Feyd on their first joint mission as part of his Sith training. Together, they steal a mysterious orb from the clutches of Nebula and Korath. Having pulled back to Cardassia and left the Alliance; Gul Dukat, Weyoun and Damar plan to deploy their flee to protect their space against Anubis. Their meeting is interrupted by the untimely arrival of Q... Grayza schemes to remove Scorpius from power and pledge the Peacekeepers to Anubis, who is happy to accept her proposal. Q reveals he has been stripped of his powers after his failed attempt to destroy Anubis. The Daleks turn to Slave Labour to gather vital resources. Their chief base on the volcanic world of Vega-6, where they have appointed a new humanoid Overseer to supervise the work. With Grazya's information, Osiris locates Scorpius's Commander Carrier and launches a deadly assault, forcing him to call for a complete evacuation of the vessel.
