Can Luna convince Cadance her unborn daughter is the harbinger of the apocalypse? Or is the Princess of the Night going mad once again? Is there any gag I can't run into the ground? Read below for commentary/credits. I started working on this after the Cadance is pregnant episode. I figured this is where Skyla finally comes into the picture. Now that the kid is someone else it makes even MORE sense. Cadance and Shining Armor just had to try again, you know? Many of Skyla's lines are bastardized Bible quotes. I never thought much of Cadance as a character because she's fairly bland so far, but I kinda like my made up interpretation where she's a cheerful yet brutal viceroy ruling the Crystal Kingdom at the behest of Celestia. Equestria just snatched that right up and put in their own puppet government. Imperialism? In my little girl show? It's more likely than you think. Hence the rebellions. I called it the Crystal Kingdom because of alliteration and Celestia is all about that 1984 terminology. Empire is just so...vulgar. You know Equestria's official name is something corny like "The Harmonious Democratic Monarchy of Equestria." I see Luna as impulsively excited and awkward enough to blatantly state the problem, but socially adept enough to realize it wasn't going to work so she tries to backtrack ("just kidding") and think of another idea. I don't know if that was clearly portrayed, though. Don't ask me where Luna kept the banana. The ponies pull a lot of strange things from the hammerspace on the other side of their bodies. Notebooks, mirrors, gems... There's a lot of little things about this vid that I couldn't get right. The keyframe bouncing for Luna/Cad was really experimental and stiff in places. I'm not satisfied with Cad slipping on the peel and tried like a dozen different setups but none of them were that great. I wish I could've made the spinning segment more cohesive but I'm too self indulgent so I just threw it all out there.
