@1972 James Last orchestra tour in USSR

Leading Polydor artist was inviited by the Soviet state concert organization in one month tour through European part of the country. James Last held more 20 concerts in May, 1972 in Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev (+Ukraine), Tbilisi (+Georgia). “Last year, I was in Russia. I don't think I can go back there because I got into trouble with the government" - he told to press in 1973. Probable reason on his opinion: his orchestra performed "prohibited" in USSR msuic of Beatles and "Let the sunshine in" from American rock musical "Hair".
