The forecast for 4.27.23 was for clear sky, but we arrived at 7AM to a downpour. Within an hour or so, the rain stopped and the air was calm. This is how the day with free-flight gliders began. 3 of the 4 four saw both towline and hi-start action, which lasted until 630PM. In mid afternoon the clouds parted, bringing in the sun and lift...giving each of the 4 gliders their best flights ever. Surely, we can find a way to bottle this air!! Memorable.
