My son and I work all week on this crazy last of us costume. We started out with a mask we got at the Halloween store. Then we adhered a bunch of packing padding foam type stuff with a hot glue gun. Then we sprayed it with a ton of spray foam and carved away any bubbles that were too silly looking. Then we begin painting it by hand. Added white enamel paint to the teeth and then aged them. We busted out the airbrush and started adding shadows and highlights and more vibrant colors. Painted the gums bright red, added a nice strap on the back to hold it in place. Made up a little costume and did some makeup on the mouth and neck of my kid. He is at school showing it off. Hopefully he does not get arrested because of the error we stuck through it too.
