Konstantinos MindcrimeVT's video: Cullera Spain 2019 city hightlights

Cullera is a comfortable small town on the coast of Valencia province. It was pretty quite in early September so we stayed for two relaxing days (I guess it may be more crowded in summer when people from Madrid come for summer holidays but I guess it never turns into a place for party animals). Not a place to visit in winter for sure as most places will be closed. Easily accessible from Valencia (there are numerous buses but we preferred the 35’ train ride) we loved the food but also we walked up the circuitous road to the hill which is toped by a restored castle (and a church) where we enjoyed the marvellous view before we get down to the sea and swim on the warm and clear waters (there was also a surprisingly huge number of lifeguards). The next day we just strolled into the town centre checking the indoor market (quite small), the main church and then just spent our time with café, cervezas and food and some last strolls near the river and the beach. Not really much to see here but you can also check the Cave-Museum of Dragut which is dedicated to Mediterranean piracy in the 16th century as Cullera was attacked by Dragut (close associate to Barbarossa) in 1550. The train station is connected with local bus to the beach area (where it is also suggested to book a room if you choose to overnight here), I think it’s one circular bus route between the city and the beaches. - Η Κουγιέρα είναι μια μικρή παραλιακή πόλη στην περιφέρεια της Βαλένθια. Μόλις 35 λεπτά με το τρένο από την πόλη της Βαλένθια την επισκεφθήκαμε για δύο χαλαρές μέρες αρχές Σεπτεμβρίου. Παρόλο που το καλοκαίρι είναι πολύ hot προορισμός για τους πρωτευουσιάνους εμείς την βρήκαμε χαλαρή αφού μόλις είχαν ξεκινήσει τα σχολεία. Χωρίς να στηρίζεται σε γκουρμέ κουζίνα βρήκαμε φτηνό και νόστιμο φαγητό στα εστιατόρια ενώ από αξιοθέατα ανεβήκαμε τον λόφο μέχρι το κάστρο για την εξαιρετική πανοραμική θέα και μετά κατεβήκαμε στα ζεστά και καθαρά νερά της παραλίας (όπου μπορείς να χαλαρώσεις για μια μπύρα στα υπαίθρια μπαρ). Την επόμενη μέρα περπατήσαμε λίγο στην ίδια την πόλη, δεν έχει κάτι να σε κρατήσει για πολύ, η κεντρική αγορά είναι πολύ μικρή οπότε πέρα από την εκκλησία περάσαμε λίγο ακόμα ποιοτικό χρόνο σε τοπικά καφέ και εστιατόρια διαβάζοντας τα τοπικά νέα. Υπάρχει και ένα μουσείο για την πειρατεία στη Μεσόγειο τον 16ο αιώνα αν θέλετε με το ζόρι λίγη κουλτούρα αλλά προφανώς δεν είναι αυτός ο λόγος επίσκεψης μιας πόλης όπως αυτή. -- video recording/editing: https://www.facebook.com/mindcrimek Music on the video: MATT WIGTON:when you love KEV:be the one
