The town is a great base to relax for 1-2 days (most people stop here on the way to/from Peru) but not more. Lazy strolls along the beachfront, one main road with café and restaurants (oriented to to tourists), some churches and two hills are the main attractions in town. In fact the main attractions are located off town and these are the two islands on the bolivian side of lake Titica. The small Isla de la Luna (island of the moon, you can visit some Inca ruins) and the bigger Isla Del Sol (island of the sun) which offers more, some places to stay, some restaurants, more ruins, a 7km long walking path from one side to the other(when the communities on the island don’t block the way, in our case it was block in most part) - Η Κοπακαμπάνα στις ακτές της λίμνης Τιτικάκα ήταν η τελευταία μας στάση στη Βολιβία ενώ για άλλους είναι η πρώτη (αν έρχεσαι οδικώς από Περού). Σαν πόλη δεν είναι εντυπωσιακή, μια τυπική, μικρή σε μέγεθος πόλη που κινείται γύρω από τον τουρισμό με μια ήρεμη παραλία μπροστά (δεκάδες κιόσκια προσφέρουν πέστροφα) και έναν κάθετο δρόμο προς τα πάνω (μέχρι τον καθεδρικό) με καφέ και τουριστικά εστιατόρια. Τα βασικά αξιοθέατα είναι οι δυο λόφοι με πανοραμική θέα στην πόλη και τη λίμνη και από κει και πέρα οι εκδρομές στα νησιά της λίμνης, isla de la luna (νησί της σελήνης) με κάποια ερείπια των Ίνκας και isla del Sol (νησί του ήλιου) που έχει τρεις κοινότητες, ένα μονοπάτι 7χλμ που ενώνει τις τρεις κοινότητες (αν δεν υπάρχει κόντρα μεταξύ των κοινοτήτων, όταν πήγαμε εμείς το είχαν κλείσει και έτσι περπατήσαμε ένα μικρό κομμάτι του) που προσφέρει παραπάνω αξιοθέατα, διαμονή κτλ
