So I actually have a good excuse for this and that is that when I edited this video, which was about a year and a bit ago, before I had a chance to render an HD version of it, my hard drive shit itself and I lost every episode of not only Merlin but every other show I had. Every. Single. One. On top of that, my laptop that I edit on has been dying a slow death for a very long time and long story short, I just haven't had the funds to put into either buying or building a new computer. I have managed to download all 5 seasons of Merlin in MKV format earlier in the year, but I'm still able to find a way of converting them to a format I can edit in that doesn't compromise the blu ray quality. Sad time, right? But I'll get there one day and then I ca finally return to doing what I love because I miss vidding so much. So if you're thinking, "Hey Roxanne, why have you uploaded this crappy quality vid after over a year?" Well dear viewer, I was SO lucky that I even had this copy at all and I only rendered it to show my best friend what the video looked like. This was edited as an exclusive project for a fan convention that I co-hosted in 2018, COiNELOT, which was a Merlin/Arthur OTP convention held in my home town and it was its second year that it had run. I was lucky enough to get to edit my "greatest love story ever told" video for the first time I went to the con just as an attendee and I had just as much fun making something that would crush the hearts of every merthur fan in the room. I didn't want to post this until it was ready. But the truth is, I don't know when or if I'll be in a position to vid any time soon. Even if I get my files back, the project itself may be beyond saving even if I can replace all the dead files with my new ones. And the response even to this crappy version was so positive that I REALLY wanted you guys to see it. I have been BLOWN AWAY by the positive response to the previous COiNELOT video I made and so I thought you guys should see this. This is the first time in aaaaaaaall my years on YouTube, that I have made a chronological video. But I felt like it was time. From beginning to end, from "hey, come on now that's enough" to "thank you" I wanted to showcase their journey, the most important moments, the fights and smiles in the order that we got them. I hope you guys cry as much watching this as I did making it (and not just because of the quality...) Till next time Merlinians xxx
