I didn't have TOO much trouble with this in the end so I hope you all like it and I hope very much that I get in, this contest has been quite fun so far :) So the story is told partly in flashback partly in "current" time, the black and white parts being the flashbacks. Everything moves in chronological order though in the flashbacks and current times so I'm going to tell the story starting with the earliest point (which will be a flashback) I'm sure you guys can follow along! ---- So we start with Morgana arriving in Camelot as a bride to be for Arthur who wants to marry her for convenience of the kingdoms. This is the first time Gwaine sees Morgana and he's immediately stricken by her. Arthur proposes and Morgana is obviously upset because she will miss her home etc etc. Gwaine meets Morgana for the first time when she is already living in Camelot and they share a flirty interlude but it's the first time that Morgana has properly smiled since she arrived in her new home and she can't take Gwaine off her mind after that. At one point Gwen, her maid, begins to wonder about her suspicious behaviour but says nothing of it. One day, during Arthur and Morgana's courtship, the two of them and Gwaine as a chaperone go out for a picnic and Morgana starts to like Arthur but still feels lonely and doesn't have any romantic feelings for him. While Arthur leaves her with Gwaine for a moment, Gwaine sits with her to try and cheer her up and in her vulnerability, Morgana nearly kisses him. Arthur nearly saw what happened but doesn't know what to make of their strange behaviour so he goes to Morgana, sensing she is feeling unhappy and tries to comfort her. Soon after, Morgana and Arthur marry and she becomes Queen but neither her nor Gwaine can forget what nearly happened and they both feel strange about it. They keep running into each other and Morgana can't stop thinking about what it meant. Despite Arthur being a kind husband, Morgana still doesn't love him romantically, she sees him as a friend and a good man but nothing more and it frustrates her. One night in her desperation she goes to Merlin's room, knowing Gwaine is there with him after a drunken night out and sends Merlin away to fetch Gaius so she can go and speak to Gwaine, seeing as he's the only person who can make her feel better. She tells him how alone she feels and the two of them hug, but nothing more. Gwen begins to get more suspicious of Morgana and fears that if she doesn't speak up, Morgana will do something stupid so she tells her what she thinks about it but Morgana can't help her feelings for Gwaine. Soon after, Camelot goes to war, and Gwaine comes back severely wounded. Morgana actually wakes from a nightmare about it and realises something must be wrong and when she finds out Gwaine is injured she nurses him herself. Gwaine wakes up and obviously makes a witty remark about dying for Arthur. I would assume they had more of a conversation but I couldn't manage to manip any more LOL xD He dies that night and Morgana is heartbroken. She never got to tell him her feelings but on the bright side she never physically cheated on Arthur (just emotionally haha). She and Arthur visit Gwaine's grave at the end of the vid. ----- Hope you all like it!!!
