Twitter: https://twitter.com/misssnowfoxx ----- a) There's one repeated clip in this I'm sorry I didn't realise till it was too late! b) there's one typo in it (unless you guys find more god I hope not!) I promise I did spell check but it just completely went over my head. I don't think it's too recognisable! Okay so I made it to round 3 of swords and sorcery which I am SOOO excited about! This time we got to make a character study from Merlin and show their journey etc and everything you normally find in one of these vids. Many of you know that I adore Uther so it was very tempting to make a vid on him, but I've already had vids focusing on him before and someone had already made an amazing Uther tribute I didn't feel I could compete with that! And my back up choice was Lancelot - although he's only in Merlin for a few episodes he managed to steal my heart and I adore his character so much! There is so much good in him and kindness and selflessness that I felt he would make a great character study. It took me a long time to decide on a song but once I saw this one in my itunes it was kind of a no brainer for me, even though I've used this song before (I used this time two different versions and mashed them together to make it more unique) it was perfect for him. The poor guy really had a tough life if you think about it - he watched his family get murdered as a boy, he grew up by himself dreaming of becoming a knight, then he learns he can't just because of his bloodline, then when it seems he might be granted a chance, he gets thrown in prison and then leaves Camelot where he works for Hengist to make ends meat, he nearly dies in the process of saving the woman he loves, who he then selflessly lets go because he has so little self esteem he doesn't believe he deserves her and then the time he actually spends as a knight like he's always wanted he spends watching Gwen grow more and more distant to him. He sacrifices his life to save his friends, then gets brought back as an evil demon person and gets used by Morgana, only to die AGAIN. Seriously what did this guy ever do to deserve all this lol! Anyway, I hope I managed to convey all the aspects of his character here. The only one I didn't manage to fit in was his knowledge of Merlin's magic but I did show their friendship at least as well as all his other relationships! Hope you enjoy :)
