In Windows Update window, click on check for updates, if you get an error, or your windows update stuck at 0 and windows update takes forever to check or download, you can easily fix it by following steps: 1. Navigate to Windows search box and type services. 2. In Services window, find Windows Update, Right click on Windows Update and stop it. 3. Go to the following path: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution 4. Rename the SoftwareDistribution folder to softwaredistribution.BK 5. Go to Services and start the Windows Update service. 6.
