Omnia is concerned about issues related to the beauty and women objectifying in this materialistic world, additionally to the human and social rights stories. Arfin's is passionate about photography since she was 15 years old, when she started to work in wedding photography studio with her aunt in Saudi Arabia, then went on to do academic training in photography. Omnia received her bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts majoring Graphic Design in 2007 from Egypt, followed that by advertising diploma in 2012, and just completed her post-grad diploma in Advanced TV & Film - Script to Screen program at Centennial College in Toronto in 2018. In 2012, Arfin was selected by Al-Liquindoi photojournalism workshop, Contemporary Image Collective and NOOR Images program "Visual Storytelling in an Open Society", an eight-month training opportunity for documentary photographers and photojournalists in Egypt, mentored by Nina Berman, Rula Halawani and Sheryl Mendez. She also was selected by World Press Photo in 2013 for the intensive project ”Stories of Change Beyond the Arab Spring” for Middle Eastern & North African visual storytellers, mentored by Donald Weber and Magdalena Herrera, which was held in Tunis and Morocco. Her work has published in Lens - The New York Times, Maclean's, Almasry Alyoum Newspaper, Huna Sotak (Netherland Radio). She is a contributor at Panorama Mada Masr, a member of Women Photograph Initiative, and African Photojournalism Database, moreover, she exhibited and won numerous awards locally and globally as a member of "In Focus" photography club.
