England successfully thrashed Scotland 3-0 on 11th November, 2016 at the Wembley Stadium in World Cup qualifier Europe Zone Group F. With this result, England now are leading Group F with 10 points form 4 matches. England took the lead in the 24th minute when Daniel Sturridge scored a strong header on Kyle Walker's assist. England then added 2 more goals in the 2nd half via Adam Lallana in the 50th minute and Gary Cahill in the 60th minute. Meanwhile in Group A, France secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Sweden at Stade de France. Emil Frosberg gave Sweden lead in the 54th minute before Paul Pogba and Dimitri Payet scored 1 goal each and gave the hosts a 2-1 victory. In Group C, visitors Germany ruthlessly destroyed San Marino 8-0 at Stadio Olimpico. Joachim Low's side led 3-0 in the 1st half after Sami Kheidira, Serge Gnarby, and Jonas Hector wrote their names on the scoreline. After the break, Gnarby scored his 2nd goal in the 58th minute before Jonas Hector made it 5-0 in the 65th minute. Gnarby then completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute to change the scoreline into 6-0. Mattia Stefanelli's own goal in the 82nd minute and Kevin Volland's strike in the 85th closed the game and gave 8-0 win for the visitors. Moving on to the transfer updates, La Liga giants Barcelona will reportedly make Liverpool forward Philippe Coutinho as their main target for the summer transfer window 2017. Philippe Coutinho has attracted much attention after playing impressively and has helped Liverpool in rising to the top of the Premier League table in 11 matches.
