Starting early 2019 with single "Atomic" on YouTube, he was constantly told that his beats were banging but his voice was high-pitched, crackly, raspy, etc. He had found out a few months beforehand he had a vocal illness called "Muscle Tension Dysphonia." Very rare but was like a wrecking ball to his dreams and social life. Following "Atomic" was "BRB." Along with a music video, it set off his career locally. Currently his most-viewed track, "BRB" is a fan-favorite. Mostic was accepting the streams but still wasn't satisfied with his vocals. He knew there had to be a fix. Over the summer, he put his bad thoughts to the side and began to work on "SUMMER '09." The 9-track album was released 4 days before his birthday. Completely designed, produced, mixed and mastered by him, it was a relief to him once finished. October 3 was the day of Mostic's dreams. After nearly a year of vocal therapy at different ENTs, his voice was fixed by a vocal doctor in Indianapolis. It sounded like a normal teenage voice. The months of having to stay quiet in fear of losing his voice were gone. In his excitement, he releases "BAD ENERGY!" on October 30, along with a music video. Many people were shocked by the sudden change, but it was definitely a huge step in the right direction. The rest is happening now. The future is all his.
